Artist's Biography
Jeannie Guillet started painting in Bolivia at age nine with well-known American artist Robert Ades. Later she majored in art in New York City, and won a second prize and an honourable mention at an adjudicated show.

After a long hiatus, during which she explored her interest in live theatre and music, she returned to art in 1999. Since then she has studied with a number of prominent artists in Ontario, including Mary Lampman, Art Cunanan, Rene O'Oconnor, June Thomson, Zoltan Szabo, and most recently with Susan Fisher and Alice Teichert

Some of her work can be found in collections throughout Canada, United States, England, Denmark, Chili and Ecuador. She has a small gallery of her work in watercolour, acrylic, and encaustic mediums in Lakefield.
