Artist's Statement

The work on exhibit represents, more or less, my 2010 output. The larger untitled works on paper (not shown above) - originally meant to serve as background art for a series of illustrations - complimented the other peices and became part of the exhibition.

The sculptural wall pieces, bits of wood, paint & sand combined with a surround structure of re-enforced plaster suggest dreamscapes & aerial views of a not so distant future.

Gallery II is all about Simonne's garden & Nova Scotia Dream'in. Sunny holiday pictures made while visiting my brother & his family on the Bay of Fundy or sitting right in the middle of their garden painting what's right around me.
