Artist's Statement
Jane Irwin received her BFA in drawing and painting from Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick in 1977. Although known primarily for her architectural glasswork, drawing has always been of major importance to the development of her art. Her drawings rely on careful selection and presentation, to reinvigorate the previously discarded or ignored. This site documents this on-going drawing project.

All drawings are executed with coloured prismacolour pencils on paper. Jane Irwin lives and works in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
